Heavy Heart

My heart is so heavy I can barely carry it
It’s filled with thoughts, feelings, dreams
Overcrowded almost
It hurts, but not really
It’s a good hurt, a lust, a love
I can’t get her off of my mind
Off of my heart
She’s there, I see her everywhere
That face is so clear, that beautiful face
Just speaking to her, listening to her every word
I can hear her even when she’s not talking
Seeing her melts my heart
Seeing her, really seeing her
Through her clothes, her skin
Looking at her from afar is a distant pleasure
I can’t write what I feel right now
Because the pen can’t write fast enough
If I were to tip my heart, and empty all of these trapped emotions
I would surely die, but her memory will live forever
