Is there no life
\non man and his son
\nthe alter ego of time
\noverencompasses the hills of this depression
\ncrawl out of the way of death
\nthe black shroud has blown off
\nhis face is ever present in a mind
\nof a young sibling reaching for security
\nLost in a clutter of lies
\nchallenge the truth of our serenity
\nI have looked and have seen my parents dying
\ncalling my name, but I am not there
\nMy mind is on something else as I slowly watch them
