I’m not going to cry
\nAs you tell me how much you are going to miss me
\nI’m not going to cry
\nAs you say to me that you can’t believe I’m actually going to leave

\nAs tears fall from your face and you whisper, “I love you” in my ear
\nI’m not going to cry
\nI’m not going to cry because the pain hurts too much
\nTears are merely a release but they do not stop the pain
